Charlisa Addison was born April 7, 1981, in Philadelphia, PA.  Know for her early stage of singing and performing, Addison became a member at First Baptist Church in Essex Maryland at the age of six. It was no secret that this young girls talent could touch and inspire everyone around her. Addison began singing in the church choir and leading solos shortly after. Singin her favorite song "Trouble Of The World" by the late Mahalia Jackson in the churches Ten Virgin Pageant, Addison knew then that it was God-given gift and that becoming a singer was her dream.

Addison became known all over for her distinct voice and authentic style of music. Not yet know for her songwriting talents Addison visited the famous Apollo Theatre in New York. She's also performed in many talent shows, where she stood alongside some worldwide artist know today.  In 2005 Addison auditioned for The Jerry Jones show and was selected to be a guest. Unfortunately, she was unable to attend.  Addison has been offered recording deals from many labels, some very big, and some small. In 2016, she opened up doing her first show for "Brutha Man" from the T.V. show Martin. An experience she says that started her journey again.
