Orlando City did the improbable by going into Red Bull Arena and taking all three points from last year’s Supporters’ Shield winners. We’re breaking down the Lions’ 1-0 win over the Red Bulls and the solid game plan that allowed them to do so. Plus, our Man of the Match picks. We also discuss the Pride’s preseason loss at North Carolina and touch on the upcoming OCB opener on Saturday at Montverde Academy.

Brian Rowe jumps on with us and talks about his arrival in Orlando, how he doesn’t really think about trying to replace a popular player like Joe Bendik, what song he sang in front of the whole team during the preseason trip to Bradenton, and much more. We apologize for a few minor audio glitches as the entire week was plagued with more technical gremlins than we’re used to, and we thank Brian for being a gracious guest and accommodating us.

After the interview, we answer listener mail, touch on the USMNT’s trip to Orlando (and also to Houston), and we give you our key match-ups and score predictions for Sunday’s match against D.C. United. We’re not yet buying in this season and we expect a difficult night against unbeaten D.C.

Here’s how show No. 155 shook out:

0:16 - The Lions finally get their first 2019 win, the Pride get swatted by the Courage, and OCB is getting ready to host Tucson.

34:15 - Brian Rowe drops in and discusses a big night against the Red Bulls and the inspirational act of getting to know Mason Stajduhar (and much more).

49:23 - Our mailbag brings up stadium naming rights again and I’m here for it. Plus, the USMNT is still unbeaten under Gregg Berhalter and we get you ready for D.C. United.
