In this episode of The Grassroots Mouthpiece I talk with candidate for U.S. Senate. Ron Crumpton is running because he feels politicians should represent the people and that's why he's running for the United States Senate. Ron is a 47 year-old father of one. He is a patient's rights advocate, and Executive Director of the Alabama Patient's Rights Coalition and the Alabama Safe Access Project-ASAP-these groups are pushing to change laws regarding patients' rights in Alabama. Ron has experience with lobbying the Alabama Legislature. He has testified tot he joint hearing of the senate and house judiciary committees on sentencing reform, and he speaks with members of both houses of the legislature on a regular basis. He has authored several pieces of legislation currently filed in the Alabama House of Representatives. After years as an activist, Ron decided that the only way to change the government is from the inside.
