Mikhail Furnace is a native of Los Angeles, CA. He has served as an Educator, Interpreter and College Sports Official. Upon graduating from Morehouse College, he began his professional career as a High School Spanish Instructor, later using his bilingual skills as an Interpreter. Mikhail pursued and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Latin American Studies from California State University Los Angeles. He has navigated the intersection of community, sports, culture and academia by teaching students the value of learning a second language and the contributions of Africans in Latin America. As an advocate and Interpreter for persons with language barriers, he has provided communication solutions for businesses, educational institutions, hospitals, clinics and social services.
