EMOTIONS ARE ENERGY (thought) IN MOTION!
Emotions affect not only our mental state, but also different areas of the body. These conscious feelings help individuals fine-tune their behavior to better match the challenges of the environment. Anxiety may be experienced as pain in the chest, for example, whereas falling in love may be associated with warm sensations all over the body. It is thought that this activation of body areas gets us ready to react swiftly to dangers, or pleasurable opportunities, present in the environment around us.
THOUGHTS; EMOTIONS AND ENERGY HOW YOU EMOTIONAL STATE DETERMINES YOUR ENERGY STATE So what are we seeing in the picture below? A GROUP OF PEOPLE WHERE SHOW different stimuli (words, stories, and movies) in different languages (English, Taiwanese, Hebrew, Spanish, Dutch, Finnish, Swedish, etc) and where photographed with a special camera to show how the stimuli affects or manifests in the body. The study proved the sensations are not limited to a given language. The pictures show what was measured physiologically, meaning, feelings only cause a minor change in heart rate or skin temperature—our torsos don’t literally get hot with surprise. Instead, the results reveal subjective perceptions about the impact of our mental states on the body, a combination of muscle and visceral reactions and nervous system responses that we can’t easily differentiate. Feeling jealous may not truly make us red in the face, for example, but we certainly might feel like it does.
