THE PATH OF DESIRE FULFILLED is the Tree of Life

The Path of Desire has a few other recognized names including:

• The Path of Victory - We are victorious when we subdue our passions, but we are defeated when our passions conquer us. 
   
• The Path of Fire - This is the path of plans, wants, needs, desires, passions, cravings, addictions, obsessions and energy. 
  
  The Path of Selflessness - The Path of Desire is considered to be selfless and unselfish, but it can also be selfish and driven by an overpowering ego.

THE FUNCTION OF THE THE PATH OF DESIRE

The Element of Fire is the element of energy expressed as plans, wants, needs, desires, passions, cravings, obsessions and addictions. At its best the Element of Fire is the Path of Plans, Wants, Needs, Desires and Passions. At its worse the Element of Fire is cravings, obsessions and addictions. Thus Path 7 can also be called the Path of Passions and Cravings.

Because Path 7 is also located in the World of Fire, this gives a lot of energy to our plans, wants, needs, desires, passions, cravings, obsessions and addictions. When we intelligently and compassionately manage this energy of Fire, we are able to manifest our plans, satisfy our wants, needs, desires and passions, and we are able to avoid cravings addictions and obsessions.

When we are not able to manage this energy of Fire, that same Fire energy converts our passions and desires into cravings, addictions and obsessions. We are not in control. We are at the mercy of our uncontrolled Fire energy.
