Here's a few tunes from my brother Stephen Kee.  Stephen passed in 2020 from Liver Cancer.  I just want to share some of him with you. Stephen's music tells a story that forces you to take pause and listen. Throughout this experience tonight I wil be playing tunes from the InSight project. I may stop and give you my thoughts.  Otherwise, I'm listening just like you. Stephen said the InSight, ForeSight and HindSight projects (he had 3) represented his heart and the indelible belief that we are better. Obviously, I won't play all of his music but wanted you to experience this unsung artist. Renowned in his own right.  Stephen was also the author of two great books, "I Heard What You Said BUT I Saw What You Did" a coming of age story in the life of a young man growing up in the walls of both the church and the 60's, and Declare Something Today. Stephen was a gifted actor, musician, poet, author, and motivational speaker. He cultivated a life dedicated to fulfilling his passions. Steve spent many years in the music and entertainment industry, working and sharing stages with notables such as Ramsey Lewis, Nell Carter, Kim Waters, Edwin Hawkins, our cousin  John P. Kee, and many others. He conducted empowerment seminars for many civic and social organizations such as The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), The NAACP, The Urban League and corporations such as AT&T, Bellsouth, Georgia Power, and Weyerhauser.  Stephen also co-hosted a financial empowerment radio show in Atlanta on WYZE called Financial Fridays. Stephen was a man who used the seasons of his life’s experiences to impact others. This unsung artist is my brother affectionately known by some as Stephen Kee, Author, and called by me, "Big Brother Awesome One". I hope you will enjoy his body of work.
