Special guests, DR. SUNDIATA, an Authentic Dialogue Instructor, and ALEASA WORD, a Conflict Resolution Specialist drop by to discuss CONFLICT RESOLUTION, or the lack of thereof, in many AFRICAN AMERICAN families. Ideally most of us want our FAMILY TIES to be strong and when conflict arises the hope is the FAMILY BOND will emerge even stronger. However, in some families the dysfunction is rampant to the point that RESOLUTION seems almost impossible.  Is some of the CONFLICT simply a failure to communicate, or how does underlying JEALOUSY or SELFISHNESS block RESOLUTION? Do some family members take advantage of FAMILY TIES in order to ask for FORGIVENESS? Are there times when it is best to take a break or cut ties all together, even from family?   When is it best to seek outside counseling or THERAPYMENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask. ALL I ASK IS THAT THINK
