Uplifting Communities

Join us this Sunday February 5th 2017 Uplifting Communities Talk Show our guest will be Theo Wilson, he is one of the founders of the Denver Slam Nuba team; Theo is also the Deputy Executive Director of Shop Talk Live, Inc. The organization uses the barber shop as a staging ground for community dialogue and healing.

He began his public speaking journey with the N.A.A.C.P. at the age of 15; He attended Florida A&M University, where he obtained his degree in Theater Performance. His love for public speaking and performance lead to his passion and love for poetry. He now uplifts his community with his lectures on poetry with the Art-From-Ashes non-profit organization, which is a poetry therapy organization in his Denver, Colorado community. Teaching others that words matter and being able express oneself through words can heal, change and save lives. It’s going to be a great show , join us this Sunday.
