What do you get when you combine a science teacher with a journalist? A surgeon who writes poetry and children’s books… Dr. Oneeka Williams. There was always been adventure and exploration in her childhood. She loved science and always knew I wanted to be a doctor. At the early as age 12 she performed minor surgery when one of her classmates ripped her earring out of her ear lobe and she came to the rescue. 
Her love for being a doctor first took her Johns Hopkins University, ‘the pre-med capitol’. Then her journey took her to Harvard Medical School, followed by Massachusetts General Hospital and Lahey Clinic for surgical training. She has always participated in various community volunteer programs with young people. She decided to write books that would share her love for science and medicine. Dr. Dee Dee Dynamo was created. Dr. Dee Dynamo truly the embodiment of everything that she holds dear. She is caring, dynamic, energetic, positive, powerful, spunky and believes that she can do anything. She heals with her hands, brings surgery and science together and loves her family.
