 “The Caring Place “was created to show young people they are loved and to provide them with an opportunity for a better future. Since 1996, the organization has grown from twelve initial youth participants to now serving more than 550 young people per year. Mary is committed to serve the youth in her community. The Caring Place, organization works to provide them with the skills, knowledge and confidence to escape the obstacle’s in their lives such as crime and hopelessness. The organization fights to provide the youth with an equal opportunity to excel in their lives by teaching them the value of education, hard work and good citizenship.
