Shakena is a representation of "No Pressure. No Diamonds". Shakena was one of many African-American Adolescents: Living in a High-Risk as a young girl living out on the streets, she endured many dangerous and disheartening situations. But she did not allow her circumstances to blind her to her potential and that she is agift from God. She allowed her experiences to polish her growth like a natural black diamond she has a different crystal structure. Like a black diamond, she is made up of millions of tiny crystals and no matter what impossible obstacles that she faced, she never lost faith. Her belief in the highest kept her ambitious even when her circumstances reflected something different. She created Chic Virtue which she uses as a platform to encourage and inspire other women of God around the world to NEVER GIVE UP! To NEVER GIVE IN! TO KEEP GOD FIRST! Which makes her a perfect addition to Uplifting Communities Talk show team.
