Join us this Sunday, October 8, 2017, on Uplifting Communities Talk Show, our guest will be Caronda Taylor. Her journey to make a difference began in LAKE CHARLES JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER seeing the number of black youth. being incarcerated moved her to be an active part of the change in her community. Her passion continued to move her to do more and she began to work with a nonprofit emergency shelter for youth. The agency caters to DCFS YOUTH OJJ YOUTH as well as homeless youth. Working with the non-profit she has been blessed to work with youth with diverse challenges. The program has allowed her to be hands-on because she goes into the family’s homes and provides a respite between the child and the parent. Caronda believes our youth is truly our biggest commodity and they are being left by the waste side. Despite the challenges with the youth in her community she cannot imagine doing anything else. And she is determined to make a difference! Tune in this Sunday as we chat with Caronda about what she is doing to uplift her community at 3 PM PST, 5 PM CST, 6 PM EST Listen by Phone 607 203 5336
