Uplifting Communities Talk Show

Brown and Ms. Jai’ this Sunday April 8th, 2018, on Uplifting Communities Talk Show; our special guest will be Patrice Smith and her four beautiful daughters the authors of “The Struggle: Mom and the Summertime Blues. A great story the book is results of her girls writing assignments. They did not know what to write about this past summer. So, their mom suggested to write their complaints, and hence the struggling book was born. I think it is a great book for young people. And it is an excellent way to show young people how to use their voices and it is also a great way to introduce young people to writing. It is uplifting to see a mother and daughters team up together and write a story about true youth challenges and make it fun.
