Join us John L. Brown and Ms. Jai’ this Sunday May 6, 2018, on Uplifting Communities Talk Show; our special guest will be Justice Davis, Justice is a 23-year-old native from Kansas City, MO. During her time at K-State, her most pivotal role was serving as the president of the Big XII award-winning Black Student Union where she spearheaded many movements to address race relations in the community.
She co-founded and helped organize conversation café on Race and Inclusion. She joined forces with the Manhattan Alliance of Peace and Justice and local churches to host public forums with the Riley County Police Department after the wake of the shooting of Michael Brown. 
She received the Commerce Bank Award for Diversity, the Anderson Leadership Award, the Multicultural Student Leader Award, the Dean of Student Life Outstanding Graduating Senior Award and the Sankofa Award. Her most memorable honor was being named the 2016 Commencement Speaker for the College of Business. Today, Justice lives in Easton, PA, and. In her free time, she facilitates leadership and professional development workshops for schools and universities.
