Join us on Uplifting Communities Talk Show July 1st, 2018 our guest will be Le Vonne Stone she is Co-Founder, of the Fort Ord Environmental Justice Network.  

 As Executive Director of Fort Ord Environmental Justice Network, LeVonne is a tireless community leader and activist. She is currently a County Commissioner working to improve the quality of life for improvised community members. FOEJN has worked together to bring solutions to improve the quality of life of disenfranchised minorities and low-income residents.

 The Fort Ord Environmental Justice Network has also been instrumental for many years to bring attention to Environmental health impacts of residents living on and around Federal Superfund sites. They also fight for economic recovery for the local communities which are being taken over by bog developers with no regard for liable wage jobs and affordable housing. Our homeless population has grown with displayed locals and military veterans. And the African-American community has been greatly gentrified.
