Alice Ruth «Ruthie» Bolton (also known by her married name Ruthie Bolton-Holifield , Lucedale, May 25, 1967) is an American ex-basketball player from the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) that occupied the base position.

She was recruited by the Sacramento Monarchs in the 1997 WNBA Draft where she played until 2004. She represented her country in the team competition of the Basketball Tournament in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games where she won the medal of Gold, same prize that would reach in Sydney 2000. In addition, participated on several occasions in the Women’s Basketball World Cup where she was part of the American team that won the bronze medal in Sydney 1994 and the gold medal in Berlin 1998.
