Uplifting Communities Talk Show

 Join Tomiya Gaines and John L brown November 13 2020 6pm PST 8pm CST 9pm EST WITH OUR SPECIAL GUEST Stacy Anderson. She currently an Individual & Family Plan Community Outreach Manager with Blue Shield of California.  Her role is to educate the community on affordable health coverage through Covered California (Obamacare), and to also bring tools and resources to local certified entities and enrollers in the communities.  She’s a master at building relationships with the people, organizations and coalitions, and connecting them together in ways that are mutually beneficial. 

Stacy attends many public events and health fairs on behalf of Blue Shield; she is the perfect “ambassador” as she exudes joy to everyone she meets.  She has been a champion for the community in developing relationships through "boots-on-the-ground", face-to-face, and personal touches to create long-term trust among the community partners she works with. 

Stacy enjoys serving the community.   She connects families to much needed resources and does what she can to ensure that families get the health care that they need.  When asked what her goal is, Stacy is quick to give a broad smile and say, “It is to provide the community with excellent education and resources, and to change lives one family at a time.
