In January 1995, Richard Linklater's fourth feature Before Sunrise was released in theaters. While it was by no means a box office smash, the film, which stars Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy, has since gone on to develop something of a cult following and many have declared it, along with its two sequels Before Sunset and Before Midnight, as one of the defining cinematic romances of all time. It also happens to be one of Shawn's favorite movies. Join Shawn and fellow Nerd Partier John Mills as they sit down for John's first-ever viewing of Before Sunrise. Along the way, they'll not only discuss the anxiety that comes with sharing a favorite movie with someone who's never seen it before, they'll also swap stories about past romances and discuss the importance of communicating and connecting with one another. Fingers crossed that the pair won't have to wait nine years before they reunite to discuss Before Sunset.
