Sarah Elizabeth Haines is a multi-instrumental NYC-based artist who we have met before as a member of the  6-person Americana rock/Celtic group Bellehouse.  She has been touring nationally for Broadway’s Hamilton as well as playing in symphonies and youth music organizations nationwide. She has release a solo album, Pretending to Sleep, written while on tour with Hamilton . The album combines all of her talents – singing, folk, classical and even brings in  the string quartet she tours with. The lyrics are honest, if painful,  made even more so by the  spare production (by Kevin Salem. The album will be released Nov 3 at the Rockwood Music Hall in New York City, but we will be previewing cuts while we talk with her about going solo, touring with Hamilton, and blending her many genres..
