Serge Bulat is a Moldovan-American music artist and producer based in New York  whose sound fuses electronic, contemporary classical, world, and experimental genres. He is also an artist working  in various mediums in Europe and the US, exploring music and visuals, and radio and theater productions. He won and IMA Best Electronic Album Of The Year award for   "Queuelbum" and the audio/visual installations "Third World Walker",  presented at music & art festivals in more than 10 countries, including Milano Montagna Video Awards (Italy), Convergence (UK), nodoCCS (Spain), La Plata International Film Festival (Argentina), and Video Art Forum (Saudi Arabia). Educated in Moldova at the Academy of Music Theater and Fine Arts, and in the US at the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development , his artistic approach is often described as a meditation on arts, philosophy, science, and society as he  explores diverse subjects like creativity, technology, reality, culture, and identity. Serge Bulat's latest album "Wurmenai"  was preceded by two releases: "Yehy Vaya" - a collaboration with Mordovian folk band OYME (Deep Forest) sung in the language of Erzya; and "Kalah Folklore" - a song in Argentinian Spanish, featuring vocalist Miriam García (Chancha Vía Circuito), based on the traditional Andean coplas.
