"Hurting people, hurt people" and that is why our guest Elder Kimberly C. Robertson who is a Certified Preventionist and the Founder of Impact Prevention Services and on today's show, Kimberly is here to raise awareness on how to reduce the amount of people from being hurt.

In 2014 she launched Impact Prevention Services, which is a prevention platform that addresses a variety of public health issues through a four-prong focus: Awareness, Empowerment, Assessment, and Training. Impact Prevention Services specializes in the following areas: Teen Dating Violence, Men & Women concerns, Healthy vs. Unhealthy relationships, Team building exercises, Prevention Workshops (Adults & Teens), Personality, Spiritual, & Career Assessments, Public Health Awareness Events, Empowerment Workshops, and Public Health Trainings. Impact Prevention Services focuses on primary prevention in these areas (especially in the faith-based communities).

Over 20 plus years, she has provided prevention education to juvenile offenders, educational awareness in the community and on college campuses regarding domestic violence and sexual assault through events like Jeans for Justice, 30 Days of Strength, and Take Back the Night. She has trained professionals on Bullying, Intimate Partner Violence, and much more. She blogs on www.therealitycheckpoint.com and was featured on Dr. Susan K. Blank’s radio show “Detailing Addiction”. Kimberly has a Master’s Degree in Human Services w/specialization in Counseling, and she is working on her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology w/specialization in Executive Coaching Psychology.
