Tonight’s show is called, “ASMR (Autonomous sensory meridian response) videos.” This is Part 2 of the topic, continued from March 4th.

ASMR (Autonomous sensory meridian response) videos – what are they, why do they appeal to some people, and yet really annoy others? Is this just a personal preference? Is it a physiological or psychological response?

Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. 

While ASMR itself appears, at best, from the evidence we would find, to be essentially pseudo-science, we certainly have covered such gray areas before on our show (for example, the Myers-Briggs Personality Type quizzes.) Future research results may lend more credence to the practice, in time.
