Relax, I will Handle the Heavy Lifting Part 2

Welcome to the Best is Yet to Come with Pastor Brad Morgan. This week's continues on the message that God knows who we are and offers a simple, calming word, relax, I will handle the heavy lifting. Sometimes situations seem impossible without the moving of the hand of God. Psalms 46:10 says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge."

There is a place of rest that the Lord is bringing us to. God moves based upon our rest and trust in him. Matthew 11:28 says, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." The Lord Jesus is gentle and lowly in heart. Jesus says "for my yoke is easy and my burden is light".

Pastor Brad concludes the a story from 2 Kings chapter 4, beginning in verse 8. The story is about a women of means and perception that assisted a prophet and in turn, God caused doors to open up for her.

If you are a believer today, you will see the glory of God. You will see things turn around for you. Relax, put your trust in God and he will do the heavy lifting!
