Another Alternative at How we Evaluate Teachers

While Governor Christie through Executive Order 42 established a New Jersey Educator Effectiveness Task Force, a separate group of educators formed to create their own recommendations in the area of teacher evaluations. The group was called EQuATE (Educator’s for the Quality Assessment of Teacher Effectiveness) and its report is also now public. Teacher evaluations are now at the forefront of the education reform movement.
