One of the challenges to the education reform movement is creating a more effective way to evaluate teachers. Ten school districts in New Jersey have been selected to be pilot districts to implement new ways to evaluate their teaching staff. Please join Ray Pinney, host of the Conversations on New Jersey Education online radio program, as he speaks with Dr. Michael Kuchar, superintendent of the Bergenfield School District, about why his district chose to participate – and their experiences so far. His district’s experience, along with the other pilot districts, will have a profound impact on how the state proceeds with teacher evaluations in the future.
