For years the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) has been among the most influential organizations in shaping state education policy. Over the past two years the NJEA has had significant public policy differences with Governor Christie. Many of the governor’s initiatives have been strongly opposed by the state’s largest teacher union, and the discussion may heat up again as the governor continues to push for changes to teacher tenure and other issues affecting school employees. Please join host Ray Pinney, host of the online radio program Conversations on New Jersey Education, as he discusses education issues with Vincent Giordano, Executive Director of NJEA.
