School Labor Negotiations in 2013

The landscape for negotiations between school boards and staff unions has changed over the last few years.  Whether your teacher’s contract is up this June or your district is involved in protracted negotiations, your board should be prepared for the New Year.  Please join host Ray Pinney as he interviews Patrick Duncan, NJSBA’s manager of labor relations, as they discuss how recent changes in law may affect collective negotiations this year.  They will also address some of the specific measures that districts should take to prepare to sit at the bargaining table.
