Legal Issues with the New Tenure Law

Since the 1920’s teacher tenure has been part of New Jersey’s education system and changed only slight until August of 2012 when TEACH-NJ was signed into law.  This law dramatically changed the process for acquiring tenure as well as how tenure charges are filed.  While most school administrators and school board members support the reform they need to be aware of the provisions of the law and its impact on their personnel decisions.  Please join host Ray Pinney as he discusses legal issues in teacher tenure with school board attorney John Geppert, Jr. of the law firm of Schwartz, Simon, Edelstein and Celso.
