The New Jersey School Boards Association has partnered with the Rock and Roll Forever Foundation, founded by Steven Van Zandt, to bring the Sonic Highways Hometown Documentaries project-based learning initiative to New Jersey school districts. Through this exciting new program, students will enter documentaries, exploring the sounds of their hometown, into a film festival for the annual NJSBA/NJASA/NJASBO Workshop conference. Please join host Ray Pinney as he discusses ways your schools can get involved in this exciting new project with Christopher Tuffli, the Executive Director of Rock and Roll Forever Foundation, and Dayna Orlak, a social studies teacher and the coordinator of the gifted program at Waldwick High School who has participated in this project.
