Day Twenty-One

Successful People Have Dreams.

That’s simple; “I have those every night, we may say” Well there is a thing about words, they sometimes have several meanings. And if we want to be successful we need to get the right one.
Definition 1- dreams are thoughts, images, or emotions occurring during sleep. That’s the dreams we have in REM sleep. The study shows the average person has 3-5 of those dreams a night. And most of these are not remembered unless we WAKE out of REM sleep. So we are not talking about those dreams.
Definition 2 – dreams are an experience of waking life having the characteristics of a dream as a visionary creation of the imagination. Waking life, that’s what we call daydreaming. It’s a good escape some times, but that not the dreams we want either.
Definition 3 – dreams are an object seen in a dreamlike state. Now this one I would not mind experiencing, but I don’t know if I have ran enough yet. This one is called a vision. That's not the one I’m after right now.
Definition 4-dreams are A STRONGLY DESIRED GOAL OR PURPOSE. This is the one I was looking for. You see what happens when we run; we get to the root of the meaning. Successful people don’t just have dreams with the meaning as a noun. No, we want to use the verb meaning. We have to have a GOAL and a PURPOSE that we plant every time our feet hits that ground. Run hard today set on your Goal and Purpose. KEEP RUNNING
