Does God really want us to clear our minds when we pray to him or is God really trying to have a conversation with us and bring up issues and anxieties that we need to attend to when we pray to Him. He wants us to give our cares to him but we need to own them before we can give them over to Him. He wants to be with us in our pain and teach us and heal us in the process. He doesn’t want us to send all of our cares, manipulation of our bodies and consciousness with yoga postures, breathing and meditation techniques. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (1Peter 5:7)
