Congratulations to Georgia Democratic nominees! Stacey Abrams made history by defeating Stacey Evans to become the first black woman nominated by any major political party for governor in the United States. With a resounding vote of confidence, she beat Stacey Evans, a white woman, with 75% of the vote capturing 150 of 159 counties of Georgia. The host of this show, Cheryle Moses, is also the Democratic nominee representing Georgia State Senate District 9 - historic as the first black and female candidate for the seat.

Now that Stacey Abrams has won, and many Republicans in Georgia have opposition from the other side, conservatives are not taking it well. We know racism and prejudices have always been foundational in many Georgia political races. How can we RESIST and elect those who can successfully represent ALL people? It is our responsibilities as Americans to call out racism and prejudices, rebuke them as a society, canvas to register voters, motivate/educate and GOTV for November 6.

Loser of the week is The Georgia Gang TV Show that aired on Sunday, May 27. Dick Williams and Phil Kent - both white - are conservatives and showed their Trump-aligned views on the expansive media platform of Fox 5. Phil Kent railed against "Resistance Democrats". Dick Williams called Lucy McBath, mother of murdered black teenager Jordan Davis and Democratic nominee for US Congress Georgia 6 District, an "anti-gun nut", said a black federal judge was dumb and Curt Thompson, a white Democrat, "got crushed by a Bangladeshi immigrant, a person of color, as they say." Winner of the week is one of the show's co-hosts Tharon Johnson for speaking up for truth
