Today we will be discussing Ghostly Legends/Stories surrounding the Village of Gettysburg, PA. On July 1, 2 & 3rd 1863, General Robert E. Lee & his entire force entered Gettysburg, PA looking for supplies and attempt to invade the North. General Lee was met by General George Meade's Army of the Potomac. This small Pennsylvania Village saw some of the worse fighting of the entire Civil War.

These three days involved the largest number of casualties of the entire war, and is often described as the Turning Point of the war. During these three days, thousands of young men (and a woman) were tragically ripped from this life. These young men ( and lady) were in the prime of their life. They never thought they would be ripped from the land of the living instanteously.

Many who know the paranormal knows that when a person is tragically killed in the prime of their life is one of the causes of paranormal activity. That is why Gettysburg is considered one of the most haunted locations in the United States.
