Our guest this morning is Sheila Miller-Nelson.

As Founder and CEO of Speak & Present Confidently Sheila is passionate about helping people become comfortable in all communication settings. While presenting is often thought of in the formal sense, presentation of self is an ongoing occurrence that impacts relationships, team building and ultimately your success. There are few skills used so frequently and consistently, yet we often do not seek or receive training in these areas. As a result, many people feel uncomfortable and unsure.

To help clients reap the benefits of remarkable presentation and communication, Sheila combines multiple elements from her diverse background to create an interactive results-driven approach.

She has a BA in Speech Communications and worked for 17 years in the aerospace industry, 10 as a project manager. Sheila spent 10 years coaching for Dale Carnegie and 2 years as a customer service manager for a high end client. She is also a certified sign language interpreter and a SAG/AFTRA actress.

Sheila recently did a ‘lunch and learn’ for the Manhattan Beach Chamber and today she’s going to share some of her expertise with us on presenting yourself confidently.
