Our guest this morning is Desiree Brown of Accounting Principles.

Desiree Brown has been a resident of MB for 20 years and has been a member of the chamber for many years. She is passionate about helping people and has spent the last 25+ years on and off working in the staffing industry in San Francisco and Los Angeles as a business development manager and executive recruiter.

Another way that she helps people is through her side businesses. She educates about safe and clean products and ingredient safety with Beautycounter, a company dedicated to education, creation and advocacy of safe personal care products. She is also an evangelist and advocates for the health benefits of CBD/Hemp and supports her husband’s business helping people live healthier lives through these natural products.

Desiree has been involved in charity work her entire life. She works with the Manhattan Beach Kiwanis Club, South Bay National Charity League, Manhattan Beach Unified School District, Pi Beta Phi Women’s Fraternity of San Francisco, and the South Bay Alumni Club.

This morning, we’re going to focus on staffing, how looking for a job and hiring has changed over the years, the current job market and the benefits of going through a reputable staffing firm for both job seekers and companies looking for talent.
