Our guest this morning is Alissa Nagano from Sea Lab.

Alissa has always been fascinated with the ocean, which is how she found SEA Lab. She volunteered there from 2008 to 2010 and then became a corps member from 2010-2012 where she helped lead education programs and summer camps. Alissa then became a paid intern at West Basin Municipal Water District as the Education Assistant from 2012-2014. When her internship ended, she applied to be the Public Programs Supervisor at SEA Lab and has been here ever since.

Sea LAB will be participating in this year’s Spring Fest. They will feature a scavenger hunt through a kelp maze and touch tank tours. Admission to Spring Fest is $5 per person, children 3 and under are free, and Alissa is here to give us all the details.
