A nationally and internationally recognized Recreation and Parks professional and public speaker, Idris is a highly motivated, energetic, passionate leader with vision and a pragmatic approach to recreation issues and needs. He has developed programs that deliver quality recreation services in a cost-efficient manner and is committed to enhancing and preserving a high quality of life through a wide variety of leisure, cultural and community services in well-maintained facilities. Idris has 33 years of experience in administrative and supervisory capacities. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Administration and is a graduate of NRPA Pacific Marketing & Revenue Sources Management School. Idris recently celebrated his 30th anniversary at Parks & Rec.
