Our guests this morning are Maureen Ferguson Lewis, Dr. Jaimie Sun Siegel and Carlos Burgos, representatives from the upcoming Pets in the Park event.

Maureen Ferguson Lewis has lived in the South Bay since 1999 and has worked for Neiman Marcus, Virgin Entertainment, and is currently employed by Belkin International as Director of Global eCommerce. Maureen is extremely active in the community and passionate about giving back through work with non-profits. She was a member of the first class of Leadership Hermosa (2003) and elected Director the following year.

Dr. Jaimie Sun Siegel has dedicated her life to the care and rescue of animals in need. Her life-long love of animals and strong belief in the power of medicine is evident in the kindness and compassion she demonstrates with each of her pet clients. Prior to her training to become a veterinary doctor, Dr. Jaimie also received training as a veterinary nurse and anesthetist and she has been a member of the veterinary community of southern California for more than two decades.

Carlos Burgos is a Community Services Field Supervisor for the Hermosa Beach Police Department Community Services Division. He has served as a Community Services Officer since 2012 and as a division supervisor since April 2016.

This morning, we’re going to learn about the upcoming Pets in the Park event, hosted by the Hermosa Beach Friends of the Parks, scheduled for Saturday, May 6 starting at 9:30 a.m. at Valley Park.
