A butterfly's last act of transformation is it has to struggle to let go. It releases the past, by surrendering to the Great Mystery. It surrender's it's former "self" to become it's "greater" self.
To become a butterfly requires a battle. A battle between the past and the future, the ego and the spirit, shadow and light, the heart and the mind, however you call it. It's a battle.

The invitation today is to set a mission for your transformation. If you are unhappy in your life, set a goal to live a peaceful life.
If you wish to achieve more peace, abundance, love, health, etc...set a goal. Set an intention for your life.
Break down that goal into phases or steps. Have a timeline, visualize it, and write about it. Put energy into what you truly want, take it one-step-at-a-time, and surrender it all to the unknown.
Surrender to the energy that created you and continues to support you.

Within all caterpillars there is a "potential" to become a butterfly, what determines those who succeed or not, is the ability to give up the old, with trust and faith that the new will be better than the old ever was or could be.
