Is Sexual Harassment becoming Trivialized?

This week allegations of sexual harassment against another democratic elected official have been made.  The range is from freshmen congressmen, a former comedian to the dean of Congress.  There has been a major awareness initiative called #MeToo that has acted as a wave over the country.  Many entertainers and business leaders have stepped down or have been fired.  Matt Lauer was fired Tuesday.  Prior to him it was Bill O’Reilly and others in the news media.  It seems to be a low tolerance for it in the business and entertainment world but not so much in the political arena.  In spite of calls for resignations most are still there from the President to the latest Congressperson. Are politicians serious when they call for another to resign or maybe it’s just political cover?  It seems that our moral compass is rolling back due to political tribalism that has run a muck!  Is this really a big moment for sexual harassment victims or is Sexual Harassment becoming Trivialized?
