NFL free agency has begun and the Green Bay Packers and general manager Ted Thompson have had a busy few days. After the initial period came and went without so much as a whisper the Packers re-signed Nick Perry and added two tight ends in Martellus Bennett and Lance Kendricks. The offense suddenly has two legit weapson for Aaron Rodgers.
Will Ingalls of Windy City Sports joins the show to talk about Bennett and his time with the Chicago Bears. How good of a fit is Bennett and is there any concern about his loud personality in a typically structured Packers locker room?
And is Ted done in free agency? It seems crazy to think he could possibly sign ANOTHER player, but there are rumblings. Jacob and Jason discuss the scenarios and how much better these moves make the Packers. The guys also talk about T.J. Lang and Eddie Lacy, who are taking visits to other teams this weekend.
On the other side of the coin, the Packers are also dealing with some players lost to free agency. T.J. Lang is off to Detroit, Micah Hyde is a Buffalo Bill and J.C. Tretter is with the Cleveland Browns. How will the Packers replace those losses?
