Listen to the Sun. Nov. 29, 2020 special edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features a PANW report with dispatches on the announcement by the Southern African Development Community (SADC) that it is prepared to intervene in Mozambique on the side of the FRELIMO government; the Zimbabwe Minister of Information and Broadcasting has appealed to women for full participation in the country's development strategy; Djibouti has stated that it is not interested in "normalizing" relations with the State of Israel as long as the Palestinian question remains unresolved; and in Somalia a United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operative has been killed inside this Horn of Africa state. In the second hour we look at the challenges facing Africa in regard to the acquisition and distribution of the COVID-19 vaccines now being prepared for public use. We also look at events in Ethiopia amid the current crisis in the Tigray region. Finally, there is further infomation on the present state of the South African Broadcasating Corporation (SABC) where the Board of Directors and management are in a protracted struggle with communication workers.
