Listen to the Sun. Jan. 7, 2024 special edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. This episode features our PANW report with dispatches on destruction of historical sites in Gaza by the IDF; there are concerns about a weapons fair taking place in the UK; Tanzania, Malawi and Zambia are all battling outbreaks of cholera. In the second hour we look at the debate over genocide in the international community. We then focus on the upcoming national holiday honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a segment on the role of the United States government in undermining the Civil Rights Movement during the 1950s and 1960s. Finally, we listen to an address delivered by the martyred leader.
