 I'll be talking to Benny Thomas the orange county marathon and half marathon we will talk bout how we felt bout the course after the run then I'll talk to James Evert Jones bout his history in Poetry in Los angeles

James Evert Jones has curated and hosted spoken word events for over 30 years throughout every corner of the greater Los Angeles area.   James currently curates and hosts the monthly Spoken World Live reading series, and the twice-monthly Expressions L.A. reading series, through his volunteer work with the Los Angeles Public Library. 

His work has been featured in Redshift, Spectrum, The Moment, A Decade of Sundays, Voices from Leimert Park Redux, the Sparring with Beatnik Ghosts Omnibus and Onyx: Spoken Word among others. 

His first collection of poetry, …a multitude of innumerable nows, Is due to be released in October 2022, with a second collection due in April, 2023.
