After having known each other for years through mutual friends and associated bands, Jet Black Romance was formed in late 2018 with Colton and Rikki. Both wanted a project to create newer sounding music with that old school twist to it. They recruited Logan Mason for drums and were a three piece through the tracking of the first self-titled EP. As the band progressed members were added and taken away to make up the current line-up, Colton, Rikki, Dizzy, and Logan. 
With the first full length album getting released back in March 2022, Rock N Roll Riot, the band feels that the line-up is stronger than ever and capable of anything.
