Being a parent is a lifetime commitment. Children grow up very fast physically. They do not stay babies long. However, mentally and emotionally once they become adults it can be hard for a parent not to veiw their adult child as an adult. 

Today's show is designed to talk about many of the challenges that parents face as they parent their adult child. I recall thinking that once my son reached 18 being a parent was going to be fun as I got through the teenage years. But like many parents it started off as a nightmare. As a therapist many concerns has been brought to my attention such as defiant and disrespectful adult children. Drug and alcohol abuse, Toxic relationships as well as mental health issues. Many parents deal with parental guilt, embarassment and shame. Some parents even feel like a prisoner in their own home. Let's talk about it. Live 3/22/21 at 12pm Pacific.
