Special Guest: Basil Brave Heart

Basil Brave Heart is an Oglala Lakota Elder who lives in Pine Ridge, South Dakota.  He holds a Bachelor of Science with a major in English and a minor in Biology, a master's degree in Psychology and Counseling, and a master's degree in Education Administration. 

In 1867 Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull Stood Against Lt. Col. George Armstrong Custer's Seventh Cavalry and Won the Battle defending of their sacred Black Hills. After the discovery of Gold in the Black Hills, the United States deliberately ignored the 1868 Treaty Agreement with the Great Sioux Nation resulting in The Department of War sanctioned the invasion of the Black Hills region.
