Guiding Loved Ones Through The Process of Closing Their Life with Dana Artzer

When Dana lost her mother due to congestive heart failure in 2019, she was heartbroken to have lost her hero and best friend.

In 2018, Dana realized her mother was nearing her end of life. Because Dana has been an advocate for senior citizens for years, she knew there was a vast amount of important information that she would need to access when her mother passed, so she created a booklet for her mom to fill out. The booklet would contain all the information needed when her mom went to her final resting place. Three months after sending her mom the booklet, Dana received it back. She called to thank her mother for filling it out, said I love you and she would call her tomorrow. Tomorrow NEVER came, her mother died later that night. 

It did not take long before she realized that having this booklet filled with her mom’s information available at her fingertips was making the process of closing her mom’s life so much easier.  All she had to do was make phone calls. She knew every bit of information that she needed to know and knew where every important document was located. She truly felt that her mother was holding her hand and guiding her through the process. 

In the middle of her darkness Dana’s “AHA" moment came! as the perfect solution to other people's organizational and end of life preparation problems. Dana created a comprehensive information system called Got It Covered-The Essential Guide to Closing the Life of Your Loved One to give a sense of peace and ease the burden for families during one of their most difficult times.

Dana has been a Medicare and Retirement Specialist since 2013. She works with numerous insurance companies to offer a comprehensive list of products to her clients, residential retirement communities and local businesses.
