Taking the Dis Out of Disability: The Struggle Continues

We welcome you all to our hour-long broadcast entitled, “Taking the Dis Out of Disability: The Struggle Continues.”
This new and exciting program will showcase the accomplishments and struggles of the largest minority group in the United States (20% of the people in this country have one form of disability or another).

Here on “Taking the Dis Out of Disability”... we will address and discuss issues that directly impact, either positively or negatively, the disability community.

Frequently, we will invite guests who will share their stories of ableism (the discriminatory, biased and prejudiced attitudes and actions against people with disabilities) and their inspirational triumphs over such disrespect, intolerance, and injustice.

On our inaugural program we are honored to have as our special guest, my wife, Theresa J. Scott, aka, Lady T.
Lady T will share her battle with Lupus, that daily impacts her life, yet, not allowing herself to be stifled or defeated by the often debilitating effects of it.
